No se salvaron: Por inhabilidades estos son los candidatos al Concejo también podrían quedar por fuera del proceso electoral.
La Secretaría de Transparencia de la Presidencia de la República dio a conocer que 526 candidatos a los diferentes concejos municipales del país estarían inhabilitados en las próximas elecciones del 29 de octubre de 2023.
Estas posibles inhabilidades, se deben a la firma de contratos públicos en las ciudades y distritos donde inscribieron su candidatura, desde el 30 de octubre de 2022 a la fecha; situación que podría inhabilitarlos según lo establecido por la Ley 617 de 2000.
Para el caso del departamento del Meta, se reportaron 25 candidatos en total: 24 del Concejo Municipal de Villavicencio y 1 al Concejo de Acacías.

Ante este panorama, quienes tendrán la última palabra en determinar alguna de las revocatorias de las inscripciones a las candidaturas serán las entidades electorales: Consejo Nacional Electoral y Procuraduría General de la Nación; para buscar el respectivo fundamento jurídico y técnico.
